The Godfather

This post id dedicated to my favorite teacher..Mr.PB..
With the number of lemons increasing in the teaching profession with every passing day.. He is a breath of fresh air.. He teaches us marketing, and whatever I know today about marketing has been build on the foundation he laid...The first lines he made us write in our books were "Marketing is not general knowledge, it is specific knowledge".. These lines are embedded in my mind...and with each passing day I realize how true they are..
He is a performer, His sessions are crafted and performed.. perfectly timed lines like "Come on future CEO'S.." and with planned pauses and dramatic effects "I am a 96 year old man.. I dont know anything...".. It like watching a Broadway performance..Crisp and entertaining...yet informative..
What I love the most about him is that he loves what he teaches.. He is in his 50's and yet so passionate about marketing..One can only wonder what he would have been when he was in his 20's...
I idolize him..I want to age like him..
His learnings go beyond classroom and that is what is the best thing.. All teachers should learn from this... Teaching is not making a student understand a subject but it is making a student a better individual by making him use the learnings of the subject in his life...
Thanks PB Sir..You have truly made my MBA worthwhile...
